help w/ sony kv-27xbr35 rolling picture
 

picture comes on and off every 1-2 seconds. Sound stays on. Any idea what
the problem is. Is it worth fixing?

If it flashes to black, then picture, then black over and over, you
have a bad picture tube. Very common on "high mileage" Sony's of this
vintage. If set has had a lot of use, time to replace. Tube replacement
would be at least $400 just for the tube plus labor charges.
