JVC AV-56WP30 Cuts On/Off With tuner On/OFF

I have a JVC projection TV Model AV-56WP30. The TV will not properly stay off, when I cut it off or it will cut on/off while I'm watching a show or game.
Does anyone have this problem? If so, what did you do to currect the situation? Also, is there a switch I can purchase to install?
