Olympus C-700 Service Documentation

I'll pay $100 for a decent SERVICE manual or other documentation with enough
info so I can troubleshoot the power circuit.

Thanks!

If you have one, pls contact me at .

For the money you are offering, you can pretty well, or very well have
Olympus change the power supply. If they do the job, there will be warranty
on their work. They do not service these at the component level. They
normally change the modules, and then do the calibrations as necessary.
They will not sell a copy of the detailed service manual.

Gad, it was a lousy camera to begin with.

The only thing it was good for was to identify idiots who thought it
was as just as good as a C2100 (which typically could be got for
less).

Throw it in the trash can.

Actually, buying another camera is the way I'm heading now, my good man -
due to the high cost of repair and probability that this power problem will
come up again.

I just looked at the C2100 (2.1MPx) and also the C740 (3MPx). Why would you
say the C2100 holds over the other Olympus cameras? Is the C2100 a
different design - that would be a plus. As for price the C700 is still
cheaper on ebay, then the C740, then the C2100.
