Need help w/Philips PL 3120

I have a Philips Model PL 3120 and can't find a way to reprogam it to
carry certain cable channels. I don't have a manual and my remote is
not the original. Is there a way to reprogam it? I find that none of
the manual controls seems to do the trick.
