JVC HR-J235EK end sensors
In rewind, fast forward or playback, when tape gets to the end,
the tape end sensors do not stop tape and vcr shuts down. Have replaced both end sensors and centre LED but fault still there. The voltages seem to be ok. Could the main micro be faulty? Rus ---------- Sent via SPRACI - http://www.spraci.com/ - Parties,Raves,Clubs,Festivals |
Unlikely to be the micro. More likely the mode switch. If the sensors
didn't work then the tape couldn't load or play. I've never seen a faulty micro, but more the 'garbage in garbage out' idea, so look for another input that is corrupt- hence mode switch problems. if problem still persists, then post back more fault symptoms to help narrow it down. Thanks for suggestion.
We now have a mode switch on order to see if this cures the problem. Russell "JVC dude" wrote: Unlikely to be the micro. More likely the mode switch.
