HDTV half Screen Horiz Hold

Don't understand it. Portable LCD HDTV right part of screen looks like it is
scrolling and flickering. Even during the local (ie not broadcast) station
resampling mode. All stations.

From what little information that you've provided, we can only
guess. It sounds like a bad driver IC or damaged LCD in the display
panel. What do you see with no antenna? It should be a blank, solid screen.
