Sony TV 1992 - should I repair?
 

I have a Zenith, System 3 - 27inch TV from 1992. Recently, there are yellow
lines across the picture. I know its the TV because DVD's look the same as
our cable channels.

I'm trying to decide if its worth fixing. Does anyone know the value of
such a tv?

Never seen that symptom before!
You could try resoldering the connections on the neckboard of the CRT
if there is flickering of colour etc.

Could be a heater-cathode short on both green and red I suppose, though I've
never seen more than one color short at a time.
