The person who can tell you how expensive the repair will cost is the one
who you pay to give you an estimate. A qualified technician needs to get
inside the tv set and determine what the fault is, which part number needs
replaced, and can then provide an estimate for repair.

This is all assuming you did the preliminary troubleshooting to make sure it
was really the tv, not the cable, VCR, or other connection going to the tv
set, as well as some menu setting for the tuning mode being incorrect.

Most likely the tuner went out; if you have a VCR handy, connect it to the set
via RCA cables and select AUX as the picture source; turn on the VCR and the
TV; use the VCR as a tuner; cost to repair; about $10 more or less for a set of
6 foot RCA cables.
