NEC Multisync 1810 LCD

Hi,

I have a few of these monitors. They had blown pico fuses and shorted
surface mount transistors on the inverter board. I replaced these and now
they're working but they aren't displaying full screen vertically. I have a
black area about 1/2 inch wide on both top and bottom of the screen.
Obviously there are no adjustements for Vertical width on the LCD. I was
wondering if there was something else that was wrong with the electronics or
if it's just somekind of setup i'm overlooking.

Anyway, if anyone has any experience with these screens or LCDs in general
i'd really appreciate your help!

Have you tried different resolution and/or frame refresh rates from the PC ?
Get the correct driver file from the maker and make sure the graphics card
recognises the monitor.
