Panasonic TX-28 W1 Service Mode

Can anyone tell me how to get into the service mode for this model. I
have tried the Bass = max, treble = min, reveal & volume, method but
it does not seem to work.

I am having trouble with the brightness/contrast ranges - the picture
is very dark, any suggestions?
