Default Thomson ICC17 chassis question

I've just got an old stock Ferguson W81201RI set which is basically
very similar to the Thomson 32WR25UG model. However the Ferguson brand
is a budget brand by Thomson and they have removed certain options it
seems. Annoyingly the picture tilt control doesn't work even though
the normal menus have this as a slider (in the installation/my
preferences page). I've just had a replacement set and it has the same
slopeing image (not as bad though) and again the tilt control doesn't
work. Other people who have bought the same discount set have the same
problem.

Is there anyway to adjust the tilt easily in the back of the set or
can the tilt control in the menus be enabled on the Ferguson like the
Thomson model?

It seems to me that Thomson by disabling this option are far more
likely to get people needing service visists but it does appear that
the function has been disabled and not just a faulty circuit unless a
whole batch was like this.
