anyone know how to fix this?

Judging by the info given on E-Bay, it's probably a bad solder connection in
the pincushion circuit(grain of salt added here). This would be a relatively
cheap repair; wonder why the guy who owns it hasn't tried to get it fixed?

That chunk of plastic busted off the cabinet is an ominous sign that it
has been dropped.

anyone know how to fix this?

Obviously the set may have been dropped. The defect of the pin distortion
being intermittent can be a bad solder connection, or the circuit board in
the set is broken. Since the set may have been dropped, the CRT may also be
giving some problems or will give some problems, which you cannot see in the
picture.

Considering the true value of a set like this in good condition, I would
think that the fellow must have had an estimate done on the set, and now he
wants to sell it.

I wouldn't touch this one!
