As for DarkMatter, let him rant. It's natural selection
hard at work. I just can't imagine living in his fearful,
pussy whipped little world

Come on over, whimpy ****tard. I'll gladly slay you tuesday for a
slamburger today! And laugh at both incidents while you rot.

Jesus Christ, you sound like a poor man's Ric Flair.

Crossed with Wimpy from Popeye fame. How apropos.

By copying a copy protected DVD you are defeating the copy protection
mechanism. If you weren't defeating it then you wouldn't be copying it.

But if you could copy it, then for sure it was not copy protected ;-)

Dingledorf. If one uses a method to allow the copying of a disc,
and it was encrypted, it was a copyrighted disc, and is illegal to
extract directly.

Don't you have somewhere else to troll?

That is so untrue.

Care to explain yourself? Just saying something doesn't make it true.

He doesn't need to. It is illegal to copy a DVD in the US, for any
reason whatsoever.

Who gives a ****?

Obviously immoral thieves don't.

***NEWSFLASH***
This newsgroup is NOT about morality or legal issues. It is about technical
issues around DVD's.
So stop offering legal advice, it is not required or even asked for.

Yes, laugh if you will, but if someone you trust decides they don't like
your attitude about your lack of self control, they may convince the FBI
of your terrorist activities, and you can deal with them instead of us.
Yes, laugh little pidgeon, laugh if you will.

I do laugh at that.. you obviously have no idea how the legal system
works... Even if they did, so what, who gives a **** if some 16 year old
copies some of his friends DVDs? They'd need proof and a warrant to even
enter the house, you can't get that on someones word alone. Maybe if you got
busted for some other crime they might possibly try to charge you with
something, but even that is doubtful.

A society who will close every possible backdoor for every possible
illegal action will be worse than everything Hitler or Stalin could
imagine.

Liberty is also the liberty to commit a crime (and to be punished
later)
