phillips dvd625 loading problem
 

My new Phillips DVD625 loads DVDs fine, but it does not succeed in
loading CDs of any kind. Tries and tries, then concludes that there
is No Disc. I bought the machine two days ago, but unfortunately lost
the receipt so I cannot exchange it. Any suggestions?

Take it back, have the serial number tracked thru their sales system, have
them exchange it.

You really need to take it back. While you're at it, try to exchange it for
almost ANY other brand (except Toshiba and the real cheapies). Pioneer and
Sony are pretty good.
