JVC GR-DVF11U DV camcorder warm but dead
My GR-DVF11U DV camcorder suddenly went dead. A charged battery gets a bit
warm after a few minutes, as does the body of the camera. Other than that, no signs of life. I connected the 7.2 VDC external power input to a lab power supply, and it draws 500 mA no matter what the mode switch is set to, including off. Any ideas? The parts list at http://www.jvcservice.com/service/ lists an AC inverter for this model. Perhaps that's gone bad? |
