SONY KP46V25 TIMER/STANDBY Blinks

I have a SONY KP46V25 rear projection set. Suddenly, the set
will not come on. The TIMER/STANDBY flashes twice then shuts off.
I press the POWER button again, and the TIMER/STANDBY flashes
indefinitely.
Can this be corrected by replacing a board ?

THanks

In your set, most of the boards are serviced, not replaced completely.
This may be a power supply, scan, or HT generator failure. Sometimes
this is caused by a failed flyback, HV module, horiz output device,
scan amplifier, or part of the main power supply failure.

The tech would have to troubleshoot the set to determine the exact
parts that must be changed.

This is not something you can do at home, unless you have the proper
training, and tools to do this type of work.

Thanks for the reply.
I won't do this one myself.
