Charlie, check the B+ rail from the power supply. These models sometimes have
protection fuses in line to protect the power supply from s/c hot. Cheers Joe "Charlie East" wrote in message ... Set is dead, Found Q601 & 602, and H- out, shorted, Res R607 open. Replaced all and tried to start set with reduced voltage. Got the relays to click about every 2-3 seconds. Came up a little more on the voltage and nothing, Now set will not even attempt to start up, Cant find any shorts. ESR caps in the P/S ok. Not getting B+ to H- out. Dont have a schematic, and my local supply does not have it. Anyone have any tips on what I missed. Or maybe a schematic of the P/S? Thanks Charlie |

Did you fix the reason the HOT shorted?
Usually bad solder connections in the h-driver circuit. If not you may have just blown all those parts you already replaced once. David Charlie East wrote in message ... Did not fix anything in the H-out circuit, Will do that just as soon as I
get two more c-4834 for Q601 & 602. I tried pluging in power with the P/S board disconnected from the main board, It didnt like that, blew r 607 and Q601 & 602, Thanks for the replys, Sure wish I had a schematic on this bugger.
