Sony STR-GE925 Digital Board Needed
Make : Sony Model : STR-DE935 Problem : No audio from any outputs when in any surround mode. We get the front L/R when it's in 2 channel mode OK. We can get audio using the 5.1 inputs ( These bypass the DSP circuitry) When using the 2 channel stereo mode , if when engage the EQ , we lose the audio. We have found the 3.3V supply that feeds most of the IC's on the digital board running at 5Volts....may have cooked em'! Subbing the supply with proper voltage was no help. The DSP IC's are very pricey....would prefer to find a replacement from a junker if anyone has one! A new Digital board is about $160. Any thoughts? Parts! Bulletins! -- ========================== Jeff Stielau Shoreline Electronics Repair 344 East Main Street Clinton,CT 06413 860-399-1861 860-664-3535 (fax) ======================== "If you push something hard enough it will fall over."
