Hi;

Can't believe this is NLA. Any other sources ?

I know they don't fail that much, but this one had a broken neck on the red
CRT. A used one would be fine. If anyone has one just let me know how much.

Post back here, after that I'll open up my email to you.

Thanx in advance;

Well I filled out the form and now I gotta wait for the activation. Even if it
comes right away, I don't use this email so I'll have to check that and then
log in.

Site seems to be a good idea with so many parts NLA. There was a discussion not
long ago about making a site just for advanced techs with technical questions.
That might be a worthwhile addition to what you have going so far. Anyway a
used one would be great, and your site now has one of my open email accounts.
If you'd like to contact me it should be simple, and I'd like to get the yoke
quickly. We have a new CRT in the set and here we sit. I tried a 20901 version
of that yoke and while there was no smoke, the horizontal deflection is
waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too big. There is no way convergence would correct it, and I
wouldn't attempt to try.

I have two other options I found on eBay, a guy in CA is selling a non working
set and I contacted him to see if he was willing to part the set out. The other
was selling a Mits fly but stated he had alot of other stuff. The latter would
probably be a good addition to your site's membership. I'll mention that in my
next email.

One other thing, please guard my email address with your life, it is the one I
use for most business. I never surf in that name or post or anything. Keeps the
spam down.

If this works out I'll spread the word. The more people in something like that
the better it works. You might also consider a feedback system somewhat like
eBay, or at least a way to throw people off if they screw somebody over. There
are many unscrupulous people out there.

Along that line of reasoning, since people can just create new accounts at
will, it could be based on the shipping address. A PO box would then be
suspect, especially when it is where you send the check.

Just some ideas, we'll be in touch.

It ought to arrive shortly after you try to register. What User Name did you
pick?

Sure, let him or her know. No problem with anyone listing stuff they are
parting out or whatever.

I could change registrations to require verifications where I scrutinize
carefully for proper Credentials, but that Takes Longer, and sometimes
the losers make it in anyway - but if this kicks off well, we can easily
make a Section where you rate Buyers or Sellers by just posting the Data
like any other forum format.

Along that line of reasoning, since people can just create new accounts at
will, it could be based on the shipping address. A PO box would then be

You can always look at another members Profile for their stats / skills /
legitimacy. Most serious players will have a website by now at least.
Then looking there, you can usually get a Feel for their intent. Before I
buy from a Person from Usenet or other place that I do not know, I ask for
certain things, and judging by Time of Response, and other wording, I can
tell if they are for real or not.

Cya on the board ! Steve

If you would post the model number you might be more likely to get a
response. Most of us don't know what we have in the junkpile by part number
unless the units have been broken down. Even then, any additional info that
you can give would be helpful.

I do believe I did, but in case you didn't know, the way I put it was
VS-XX43,44,45. This means any Mits VS
4543,4544,4545,5043,5044,5045,6043,6044,6045. I checked and only uone/u
part number is given for the deflection yokes. (they share the same service
manual)

I dunno, should I have put VS __43, VS__44, VS__45 ? In any case all of that
would not fit the subject line, now what ?

There is a chassis number, but I don't recall it, so how can I excpect others
to recongnize VZ3 or whatever it is ?

Some do some don't. I would like to be understood as well as possible, Anything
constructive would be appreciated.

Thanx for your time and thanx in advance;

Default Need Mits yoke 330p20904/VS45__ I stand corrected

Wow, I can't believe it I thought for sure I typed that out VS-XX and so forth,
apparently I did not. Sorry.

I even proofed the thing, but anyone can miss an omission.

So there is no misunderstanding:
VS:

4544
4545
5043

6043

All use the same yokes, and again, I apologize for the error.

Thanx for your time and if you got one,,,,,,,,,,I would like to buy it.

I have a VS4543 light box that had a deflection board with a large hole
burned through it due to coolant leakage. I'll pull it out and check the
yokes to see if there is any coolant on them. At least one should be good.

We sell used parts to other servicers for 50% of original cost. Mits dealer
cost on this was $35.40 x 50% = $17.70. Add actual UPS shopping cost based
on your zip code and delivery conditions.

I'll let you know when I check them.

Thank you.

I would be very interested in one, actually I'd like two if available. To email
me use JURB6005 instead of JURB6006. I get some spam there so make the subject
line something that'll stand out.

Thanx again;

I have a used one. What makes you think it is bad. I have not seen bad
yokes in that series of sets, just bad solder joints at the connectors and
typical vertical output problems.
