Address modification possible with AOL?
OK, I think the issue why I can't find how to modify my email address is that
when I go to this site, the address AOL uses is: aol://5863:119/sci.electronics.repair. Seems like this makes it route through AOL, using my screen name as the address post sending address. Is there a direct WEB address I can use to bypass AOL? I have tried the address news:sci.electronics.repair, but AOL modifies it to be like the one above. Am I buggered sin ce I am using AOL? |

You'll have to use an external newsreader program, I use Outlook Express since it does my email too, but it leaves something to be desired for newsgroup access. It's better than AOL's software though. |
