E60 canon camcorder problem
Hi,
In last week I had buyed a second hand E60 camcorder. The first time I try to test the camcorder the screen show the EJECT message every time I insert a videocassette. I had changed the camcorder function between camera and play and the result is the same. I can't record nor read some old 8mm cassetes. Anybody can tell me what is the true problem of that camcorder? Thanks in the advance, Jorge -- Posted via Mailgate.ORG Server - http://www.Mailgate.ORG |

Thanks in the advance, Jorge If it isn't a mechanical problem, you can bet the capacitors have failed. I'm amazed it still works at all, these cameras usually required re-capping after only a few years. The E60 is a very old model now, I hope you didn't pay much for it as it's unlikely to be worth repairing. Dave |
