Kenwood KR-V7070 schematic-keeps switching off
Lino:
A schematic will not be of much use to you..... there are no step by step troubleshooting instructions and there certainly is NOT any instructions that specifically address your troubleshooting question. A schematic is only most useful to an experienced and knowledgeable tech with the proper test equipment, tools and replacement parts. In fact, most shop techs fix most equipment without the hard to find schematics and service manual.. First..... disconnect ALL the speakers from your Kenwood and try a set of headphones instead..... if it still switches off and on then you will know that the problem is not due to faulty speakers or speaker wiring. Stop running your Kenwood until this gets fixed..... continuing to use it with this problem is courting disaster to the point that it won't turn on at all and more expensive parts mail fail. The symptom you describe may be caused by faulty or leaky semiconductors, electrolytics, etc..... but also can easily be caused by dry, cracked, cold solder connections..... especially near and around the high heat producing components such as power resistors, transistors, diodes, etc. Look also for loose grounding screws on the pcb and on the rear jack panels. -- Best Regards, Daniel Sofie Electronics Supply & Repair ------------------------------------- "Lino" wrote in message ...
