Default Viewsonic P810 common problem?

I dont have any high voltage test equipment but own a scope and a couple of
Fluke meters,esr meters.
S671 (spark gap) tied to FBT appears like it been arcing as its discolored.
I have two of these monitors that went bad within weeks
They have the HV10S boards by panasonic

Do a Google Groups search then repost question with some better
troubleshooting information if you do not find the answer.

Viewsonic P810 and G810 are notorious for the flybacks failing. They are
$85 plus S&H any where you can find them.
