The sbx1637 mm20l assy is probably faulty . It is available from MCM

I dont believe that Model uses SBX1637..

I just tried the set with external video and audio and it works ok that way.( uses all the same circuit except the tuner) Expensive, 143.00 from MCM. anyone have an old one laying around? p/n 8-598-254-00 btf-wa402. trouble posting. I could not find a link on the net for a schematic or data sheets for that SBX1637-01/11 but I have the data sheets in front of me in paperback form. Pin 1=VCC (+9v) Pin 2=mute (supresses the output of pins 9,10, & 11,operates at H level,2v to vcc Pin 3=F SAP Pin 4=forced Pin 5=MSO=mode control switch Pin 6=MS1=mode control switch Pin 7=SAP IND=sap indicator driver Pin 8=ST IND=stereo indicator driver Pin 9=L+R out=left & right output Pin 10=L out=left output Pin 11=R out=right output Pin 12=MPX in Pin 14=TP1=test pin Pin 15=TP2=test pin Pin 16=GND |
