Phonic Roadgear 260 Plus
 

Anybody by any remote chance got a schematic for this ? I've got one with a
blown PSU that uses the dreaded IGBTs and specialist control / driver I.C.
Needless to say, the IGBTs are both short, and have taken the driver I.C.
with them. Usually, these I.C.s pretty much drive the IGBT gates direct, but
this one seems to have a bunch more circuitry in the area, that is obviously
going to need checking before blowing up a pair of replacement devices.

I thought that I'd struck gold with good old Elektrotanya, which had a
manual for the 160 / 260. However, the "Plus" version seems to be entirely
different in the PSU area, the 'straight' version using four conventional
FETs and transformer drive from a regular '3842 control I.C.

I tried emailing Phonic in the forlorn hope that they might help out, but no
reply so far, and the job's a bit urgent. I've ordered in an I.C. as it's
cheap, and I'm going to jam that in first to see if that at least restores
some drive before buying in some IGBTs, but it would be good to see a
schematic to get an idea of what else might have failed, without having to
remove every component in that section to test individually ...
