Display and keyboard on Micron TransPort Trek 2
A photo of a small portion of the display on a Micron TransPort Trek 2 laptop is visible here.
http://members.shaw.ca/peasthope/MicronTrek2Display.jpg What can cause a font to be rendered so badly? Several of the keys on the keyboard don't work. No problems when an external keyboard is used. A photo of the back of the keyboard is here. http://members.shaw.ca/peasthope/Mic...k2Keyboard.jpg It is peppered with about 50 tiny screws, heads of three of which are visible in the photo. Is any repair of such a keyboard feasible? Thanks for any replies, ... Peter E., peasthope at shaw dot ca |

The resolution of the video isn't matching the resolution of the display. Eg. The video card is showing 600 pixels horisontally, but the screen is 800 pixels. Several of the keys on the keyboard don't work. No problems when an external keyboard is used. Is any repair of such a keyboard feasible? What could possibly go wrong? ;-) If you try and fail, are you any worse off?
