Anyone familiar with the mechanism and any close up pics out there? Owner
buggered up the mechanics trying to get to broken power socket.
I suspect the mechanism that lifts the magnetic head arm out of the way for
disc in/out access, is only fully engagged with the disc, via a motorized
yoke, can anyone confirm? Not just the process of hinging up and down the
closure flap.
Any pics, out there, of the mechanism at the long-axial rear of the battery
pod, probably disc-in switch and a piece of black plastic with a slot in it
and an aluminium end of arm that probably should be in a small rectangular
location hole in part of the complicated periphery metalwork. But that
corner is distindly out of kilter.
