Sony KV27S35 case

I was given a Sony KV27S35 TV that works, but the case is all busted up, as
in shattered. The back is just fine. The front case and the circuit board
holder are brittle and I wasn't given all the pieces. It seems a great
shame to just toss the wole thing, but I can't figure out a good way to
support the tube and the board in a reasonable fashion. Any ideas, or
someone sitting on a good case? I'm in the Kansas City area.

There was a relatively short run of TVs made during that era that had
plastic cabinets that are experiencing polymer decay. Sonys,
Panasonics, JVCs, Hitachis and Toshibas all have the same problem.
They become more and more brittle as they age. I had a couple of guys
carry in a 32" Sony to be repaired that was breaking up in their grip
as they brought it in my shop, and literally came apart as they placed
it on the floor. Pure junk. Problem is, any cabinet you find will
likely be suffering the same malady to some extent, and a different
year will probably not fit the main board.
