Dell Inspiron 5150 won't power up
Hi,
Does anyone have, or know where to get hold of a copy of, a schematic for the above? Mine has the common 'won't power up' fault - outer 2 LEDs blink briefly, then nothing. This started out as an intermittent fault, now permanent. I have tried the common fix of re-soldering the 74LVC14 chip under the 'C' panel and trimming the panel clips, this made no difference. Google brings up lots of hits on this problem, but the fix above is the only component-level repair I have found. Anybody know of any other likely causes? TIA R. |
