Toshiba 32" TV Circa 1990 dead.
M # CX32630, Ch # TAC9035, dead 5 volts ok, 10.5 vdc @ relay, but
relay won't energize. Cap on the relay is ok. Jump relay, set comes on with no vertical, just a line accross the screen. Vertical IC is ok, when set is on power supply runs ok. Is there anything common on this unit? Thanks, Dani. |

Thanks, Dani. you will need to troubleshoot the vertical section, how do you know the ic is ok, have you changed it? you may well have an open resistor in the supply rail or bad caps. If so, the set seems like it is in protection or the relay may be faulty. i replaced one the other day which clicked and everything, but did not make contact. check on eserviceinfo.com for the schematic. -B |
