dvd player gone dead
 
okay guys
first of all hi

i have a problem, i plugged other day my dvd player Tevion DVD-3000 in
current and bum, it went dead..
opened the cover and i see this is dead

the safety swithc is dead, 1ohm and than tiny chip..
i cant see what its written, i see only 0322
any help plz?

you have a dead short in the power supply. you will need to replace
the chip, asociated diodes, resistors zener diodes , FET etc. this is
unlikely to be worth it in terms of expense or time. As far as i know
no schematics were produced for low end machines like this. before you
bin it, have you tried eserviceinfo.com?

Looks like pwm ic is shot due to power surge or lightning. There may
be caps, diodes, current limiters and fet also gone.
If you know what you are doing, then go ahead. Otherwise take it to
repair shop.
