Formatted Sony NW-S205F

Hello,
I have a Sony Network Walkman (NW-S205F) that has been
accidentally formatted through Windows Vista instead of just erasing
all of its files; Neither SonicStage nor Winamp recognize it as more
than a USB drive. What can I do to restore any files necessary to
allow the player to play loaded media?

Regards,

Kurt

Borrow a second unit, take an image of its file system, and then
transfer this file system image to your old unit.

It is likely that the sony support site has the software to repair this. I
would check there.
