Vtech cordless phone openning

The speaker of the Vtech model MI6896 cordless phone is not working
although the rest of the phone is functioning. I want to open the
handset but without breaking any tabs attaching the cover to the
case. I removed the battery and two screws, but cannot find how to
pry open without damaging.

Any idea how to do that or whenI can get the service manual for this
phone?

Thank you,

Oron

Sometimes there are screws hidden under the number tag above the keypad
(assuming it has such). Other units have screws covered by adhesive
labels. Otherwise, it's just a slow process of working around the
periphery of the case halves, tweaking each tab as you find it.
