Onkyo 12LF-200 AM/FM radio

Has anyone got any information for this set? I've contacted both Onkyo in
the USof A and Japan and they both said that they never made this radio. I
have it before me, it has the Onkyo logo on the front, and on the back it
has Onkyo, Osaka Japan.
It runs on 7.5 vdc or AC
12 transistor, 5" speaker
Jacks: Phono, Rec-out, Earphone
One label attached to the back reads:
Onkyo Canada Ltd
80 Duflaw Rd.,
Toronto 19, Ontario
This address has long since been taken over by another business.
I have pics to prove it's existence.......next stop area 51?

It could well be a cheap import transistor radio with
the Onkyo name. There were plenty of counterfeits
around when those things were made.

The thing is, it is very well made, very good sound and a family keepsake to
boot.
