Cut out because owner was connecting to speaker with lead connected to amp
and touched the plug-tip to guitar strings. I cannot find anything wrong with it now. I downloaded , something like the schematic version here from http://www.britishaudioservice.com/s...2012%20band%20 series.pdf I cannot see how any protection circuitry would work/ reset themselves in this fault mode. Anyone familiar with these amps.? I'm surprised the Cockroft Walton pump cirrcuit is enough to power the HT of the ECC83. -- Diverse Devices, Southampton, England electronic hints and repair briefs , schematics/manuals list on http://home.graffiti.net/diverse:graffiti.net/ |
