Sony 36" TV dead.

Model # KV36-FV15, high voltage comes up, at turn on, but drops away
right away. Horizontal
output, drive, & switching transistors chech fine in the power supply,
suspect flyback. Can't locate one, seems NLA. Any other common faults
with this set? Thanks, Dani.

The flyback is apparently in stock at www.tritronicsinc.com and
www.partstore.com.

Sony 36" TV dead.

Update: Unplugging the CRT socket, lets the T.V. stay on, but no
sound, or input change can be noticed. Also, unplugging
the high voltage 2ND anode to the CRT gives filiament, but no yoke
buzz. I'm thinking there is high voltage with no, or very little
horizontal drive. It's
an odd problem. Dani.
