RCA Rear Projetion TV

Our RCA tv is only a year old and the screen went bright red and
blinked then the tv shut down. Has anyone had this happen?

Yes, indeed.... several times, however each repair was different.
One time it was the SMPS switcher xstr, then the LOPT, then the
tripler, etc, etc. You should probably have a service tech look at
it to provide you with a repair cost estimate so you can make an
intelligent repair decision.
