As long as they are the same type, voltage, etc. as the original RAM,
they should work as a pair. You might look up your 'puter on the HP site, and see what the specs are-if provided. Unless the MB is really ancient, it's chipset will support at least 256mb sdram. First of all make sure your mother board supports which type of RAM
i.e. SD1 or SD2, same thing about the two 128 MB stips also, that what type of RAM are they.. PC133 *should* work at PC100 speed but in practice I've found that isn't always the case. |
