RCA has a HUGE common sound problem!!! No actual fix for it. Corrupt
cable info gets through to the T.V. Try unplugging the T.V., overnight, & the sound, SHOULD come back. That's not going to help you much, but have had the same problem in the past. Component level troubleshooting requires knowledge and a few tools. You are probably right about the temperature as the 20 minute lag fits with that theory. But, that does not necessarily mean that the temperature is too high (unless you have the set enclosed in a tight space). Good luck. |

If so, connect something like a VCR to the jacks & switch the TV to A/V mode. If the problem doesn't occur, this indicates a probable tuner failure. |
