Replacement speaker cones

Say for 12, 15 or 18 inch ones - does anyone produce just the cone with
cylindrical back extension with coil for known or standard makes. ?
Where the original has burnt threw the cylindrical former due to DC fault so
could not try rewinding on the original. Seems a shame to chuck all that
steelwork and magnets for the sake of some card and half an ounce of copper
wire.

yes replacement of cone & voice coil is standard in the industry, or
was, but I've no idea who the suppliers are.

Yes, replacement cones are available, but it isn't easy to replace the
cone on a speaker. Usually you send it to somebody who does it all the
time, and has the expertise. You end up with a speaker that is
functionally equivalent to a new one, at a fraction of the price.

For orginal replacement, you need orginal parts. The manufacturer
is most likely to have the right stuff. Larbor and shipping is instense.
You will save maybe 25% off the cost of buying a whole new driver,
but that will vary to overall pricing. Even the cheapest generic kit, may cost
over $40 per driver, and its best to go with matched pairs.
