Sony SLV-795HF VCR Error Code
 

I'm trying to repair this VCR...

If you enter stop or play while the machine is in fast forward or rewind
(or allow it to go to the end of the tape and stop by itself), the deck
will stop and a motor (loading motor?) will run for a few seconds, then
the deck will shut down and display the error code "3L 10cc". Does
anyone know what this error code refers to?

If you wait for 10 seconds more, the machine will reset & work until it
has to stop in fast wind again, then it will go back into the same
failure mode. Tape will load, play, and eject correctly when not in
failure mode.

Mode switch removed, cleaned, and replaced - did not fix problem.

Any help appreciated...
