Help - insects have invaded my monitor!
During the summer, a couple of small (but determined!) insects have
found their way into my Samsung SyncMaster 213T monitor and are now entombed beneath the front plastic screen in full view. To say this is annoying is something of an understatement - however, Samsung claim that their removal is not covered under the warranty. Without specifically telling me I should do it (because it would invalidate the warranty), the guy I spoke to suggested I take off the plastic screen myself and remove the insects. Trouble is, it's not immediately obvious how to do this as there aren't any screws - just a small oblong hole under the bottom edge and another on the back panel with a small 'lock' icon. Could anyone tell me how I can get the front cover off without damaging anything? Thanks in advance... Nige |
