the projector will power up, and the lamp comes on and starts a
countdown, halfway through the count down the projector will shut down,
except for the red power light will not turn back on until after a few
minutes, then the same thing happens, does anyone know what could be
the problem, the lamp replacement light is not on, I figure if it was
the lamp, the lamp would not even come on. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

Is the fan coming on as usual? Could be a thermal circuit breaker kicking in.

yes, there is two fans, and both of them are working, I failed to
mention earlier that after it shuts down after about a minute, the
green standby light comes back on and you can turn the projector back
on, then it shuts down in about 15 seconds and repeats the problem, I
thought it might be a power supply problem, but not sure, since the the
red power button, does not go off, until the green standby light comes
on
