Wildlife tracking collar

I am looking for a wildlife tracking collar as used to monitor animal
movements, collar does not have to work, intended to use
as a LARP prop.
Anyone who has something laying around that he's willing to sell?
I pay by bank transfer or western union in advance.
Must be a professional looking version, not the cheapos they use for
hunting.
Like i say, electronics can be toast, dead battery...

If all you need is a prop, go to the women's department of your nearest
clothes store, and get a wide belt with an ornate buckle. Stop at the
hobby shop for a piece of piano wire, and tape it to the belt to look
like an antenna.

LARP? Liberal Association of Retired People? ;-)

Good Luck!

I need a bit better then a belt with a wire, i need an actual collar because
i also want to do something with it's housing.
That's why the original electronics can be stuffed.

So put a Radio Shack project box on a collar with a wire sticking out.
Put your electronics in the box. The original electronics are unlikely
to be useful, unless you have a receiver to match.

Do you even know--or will anyone who sees it actually know--what the
real thing looks like? In fact, what difference will it make what it
looks like, since many of the 'real' devices are actually cobbled
together in a lab or workshop?

Why don't you post what you actually need, it's intended use, and the
conditions under which it will be used? That way, you could take
advantage of the immense pool of knowledge here...instead of playing it
so close with your requirements. If you are looking to do something
illegal or unethical, go somewhere else.

Hehe, no, i'm not doing anything illegal here.
I am a live action roleplayer, playing a furry character, which is a lion.
The lion wears a military uniform and to top it off i want to put a wildlife
tracking collar on, inside the box i will put the
electronics that control the fans which keep the head cool (a foam head can
get hot, especially one covered with fake fur)
and the amplifier that controls the hearing aid. (nothing impressive, it
just amplifies the sounds outside so you have a better
hearing)
I'v done it before but usually i put it like you say in a project box which
sits in a pocket inside the suit.
So there won't be a transmitter or anything, i just try to be a purist and
find a faulty tracker such as this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/Johnson-Tracking...QQcmdZViewItem
If i can't find then yes, i have to build something myself with this as an
example.
I hope you don't think i'm funny, i also do castle games and things such as
magic, everquest...
