Toshiba CF19F22 lost video signal
 
hi,

i lost video-out signal on my Toshiba 19" TV set, when i connect it to
my DVD player or camcorder, i can hear the sound but no picture. the
TV and video function of the TV play just fine.

any suggestion on how to fix it?

surely you must mean to say the video "IN" function.
If it is not working and you are certain that you have the video "OUT"
from the DVD or Camcorder (Yellow connector) connected to the video
"IN" of the television (Yellow connector). It is easy to mix these
things up sometimes....

yes, it's video-out connector. and i connected correctly to other
devices (DVD player, camcorder), yellow video port to yellow video
port. but the picture just remains blank on the TV screen

any ideas?

Well, there is the problem..... you should be connecting the DVD, camcorder,
etc TO the VIDEO IN connector on the television.

oh, boy

let me make myself clear:

i connected the video cord(yellow) from DVD-player's video-out port
(yellow) to TV's video-in port(yellow). it's not the first time i
connected a device (i.e. game console, DVD player, camcorder, Digital
camera) to a TV set, and i do know how to make the connection.

but the problem is i don't get the picture, audio works fine,
