Default RCA P46924 cycles off and on automatically

I have a 2002 RCA P46924, chassis CTC195M26A. Last fall it stopped
working and I had to replace the flybact and the HOT. I finally got
around to doing it and now it looks great but it intermitently turns
off (both audio and video) and on within 1-2 seconds. Sometimes it
will try and come back on but turn off again. If it does this three
times in a row it will stay off until I power it on.

Did you try looking for cold solder connections to start with?

Anything that is going open or short can cause a set to turn off. You would
have to troubleshoot the set during the fault condition to see where the
failure is. Start with investigating the power supply, protection circuits,
and then on to the scan circuits.
