Panasonic PV-M2021 TV/VCR Combo--Need power supply help
 

The power supply was damaged from a power surge caused by lightning.
Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the VEPS 1008 vcr type power
supply module? If not is there any place I can send it to for repair?

Even if you find someone who will fix the power supply and send it back
to you, the set may have more damage depending on how far into the set
the lightning went.
Your best bet id to bring it into a repair shop and tell them about the
lightning before they start.

These type of power supplies are pretty good at isolating the rest of
the unit from damage from a low level surge such as this. A few years
ago before retiring and while still in the repair business, I repaired
this power supply after a simular incident. I am confident that the
power supply only is affected. This time a schematic would sure be
helpful.
