Default HP 54111D DSO help?

Would someone who is intimately familiar with the operation and maintenance
of an HP 54111D digital oscilloscope be willing to correspond with me?

I bought one off eBay and upon receipt it appeared to work properly.
However, once I really started to try to use it, I find that it may have a
problem in the input attenuator circuitry. Possibly both channels.

Not being familiar with what is supposed to be normal operation for this
unit, I'm not sure which channel is the problem or if both are. I do have
the front panel operation reference and the schematics for the unit.

I would appreciate the chance to pick the brain of one who knows the
critter....

Please reply to nrpreston at yahoo.

Thanks very much,
Neil Preston, CET
