LCD image jutters?
Can anyone help?
I have a 5inch LCD tv. When I first turn on the tv, the image jump/jutters up and down for about 3-5 mins before leveling out. Does this sound fixable or is it a write off? Thanks Darren |

Most likely some component(s) has become thermo sensitive. Eventually, it
will most likely fail. Depending on the type of component, it may have to be sent to the authorized factory service rep to have the service done. An experienced tech should be able to find the thermo sensitive component using freeze spray and a heat gun. If the part is non-generic, he may not be able to buy it from his main supplier. He would have to get the original factory part. In many cases, I have had defective capacitors cause this type of fault in various units. Most of the caps used in these monitors can be generically purchased. Most of the parts are surface mount types, and usually require the proper soldering station to be changed. -- JANA _____ wrote in message ups.com... Can anyone help? I have a 5inch LCD tv. Thank you very much, thats very helpful to me.
Im quite electronically minded myself. Though I don't know much about what these componants are for, I know a bit about how to find the correct replacement parts. Unfortunately, there are only 3 of these products ever shipped to the UK. Is there anything I can do to detect a blown cap? I have briefly looked inside to see if any of the caps have popped, but didn't see anything. Does this mean I need to take it to a specialist? Thanks Darren |
