I have a canon FC 224S copier which has a faulty paper feed. The copier
will occasionally pick up the paper, but most often only moves the
paper a small way. Any sugestions?

Worn out spring under the paper tray, worn out paper pick up D roller,
bad multi-feed pad sticking the paper.

Basically just look for the obvious worn rubber parts and broken gears,
beyond that you pretty much need to be a Canon authorized servicer to
get parts or service information.

Clean, with methylated spirits, the rubber roller that descends and
initially "flicks" the top sheet
into the machine.
